With this item you secure your spot in the racing line up for Gold Cup Festival 2025.

The Gold Cup Festival - presented by Raymarine - will be based at the yard in Haderslev, Denmark, and racing will take place in the beautiful waters around the island of Aarø just outside the Haderslev Fjord.

What’s in store? Three days of:

• Sailing in the beautiful waters of Aarøsund
• Delicious food
  Friday night BBQs with grilled sausages and cold beers,
  shared dinner on Saturday, and a fantastic three-course Gala Dinner on Sunday
• Live music and entertainment
  Jazz at the marina, live bands, and dancing under the summer skies

  with 80 other X-Yachts and a passionate community of sailors

Prepare to Be Spoiled All Weekend

We kick things off Friday June 6th with the skipper’s briefing, grilled sausages, and cold drinks.

Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th are all about racing — blended with time to relax, hang out in the openair lounge areas, and enjoy plenty of refreshments.

On Sunday night, we wrap it all up with an unforgettable Gala Dinner, awards ceremony, live music, and dancing into the bright summer night.

And throughout the weekend, you’ll be spoiled with gifts and prizes from our mostexclusive partners—worth a total of 30,000 EUR.

How you join is up to you - choose your class  

Take part in the racing — or just soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the incredibleview of hundreds of sails on the water. You can even team up with friends on another boat — many are more than happy to bring guests along.

Choose between three classes:

RACE CLASS

For those who want to compete at the highest level.

Fully crewed boats with a valid ORC certificate. The races will include both upwind/downwind races and coastal courses.

FAMILY & FRIENDS CLASS

A more relaxed, yet still competitive, coastal sailing experience.

Open for crews of any size, with a minimum of two sailors.
To encourage maximum participation, a rating certificate is not required. The races will include coastal courses. The class will be specified by race-organisers according to boat size. 

CHAMPAGNE CLASS

A single, laid-back gentleman’s race each day, followed by time to unwind and socialize.

For sailors who enjoy boating lifestyle with less focus on racing. To encourage maximum participation, a rating certificate is not required. There will be only one short distance race per day, and all with a relaxed approach to results. After sailing, participants may watch other races while enjoying champagne.
